1990 4Runner tailgate Window Channel Replacement

The two metal channels that hold the bottom of the tailgate window are almost completely gone (rusted) and so I ordered the set (69907-35010 & 69907-35020) together with the rubber inserts from Japan. It seems to be a somewhat popular items set to purchase (even though you have to get it from Japan). Anyways, I have these things now and am seeking advice on how to get them installed. Can't find anything online yet. The drivers side one was totally rusted off the window so was easy to get off, however not sure how to go about getting the new one into the bottom of window. On the passenger side I'm not sure how to remove the existing one as it is still on there. Any suggestions or ideas as to where I might find some guidance?
