looking for what the offset is for the stock 4x4 96+ taco. also, what offset is recommended for 33x12.5 on a 16" wheel? i do not want a lot of wheel/tire sticking out past the fender to where it looks rediculous, as ive seen on some pickups.

I think maybe you are referring to backspacing. If so, try a search on here - I'm sure it has been mentioned before.
