Toyota Truck Help!

Toyota Truck Help!
Hi, I am about to graduate college and was thinking of looking in the market of buying a Toyota truck. From friends I have learned that Toyota trucks seem to be very reliable, last a long time, and hold their value. My vision is eventually being able to build out the back of the truck to live in, while I work and am able to save up a good amount of money. I was wondering if anyone could give me their opinion of which Toyota truck (year and model) would best be suited for this? I am 6' 4", so all 5ft beds are out of the equation. Let me know what you think, thanks!

Pickups are for cargo. If you want one you could sleep in, get a 4Runner. You can stop anywhere and access anything or sleep by simply crawling into the back. No need for much modification.
You already know, of course that in order for a pickup bed to fit you it would have to be loong = not as nimble as a shorter vehicle.
No need to get out of the cabin to sleep in camper shell like you would with a pickup.
No need for a roof-top that adds drag and could be a problem in high wind, or ground tent.
I would stay away from first-gen Tacoma, 3rd-gen 4Runner, Sequoia and Tundra from same era because those have flawed suspension design that puts the lower ball-joint under tension (forces pulling it apart), unlike other model-years where load-bearing BJ's are under compression (being pressed together).
See what I mean here: https://www.toyota-4runner.org/3rd-g...up-thread.html
