Where can I buy new window seals for the Xtra cab small rear glass?
I am removing my rear small windows on my 1987 Xtra Cab before I paint it. The seals are looking a little weathered, so I would like to replace. I have looked and searched, and I dont see anyone that sells them. All I see is windshield and rear windshield seals. Anyone know of a place? Thanks!

Welcome to YotaTech.
"Obsolete" from Toyota. https://parts.lakelandtoyota.com/sho...rimLevel=18292
But I'm sure you checked there first.

Let us know if you find anything, I ended up getting a used one off CL after searching for a new one years ago. They do still sell new aftermarket window assemblies, got one of those of Ebay, no gasket included though.
Oh wait my bad, I was thinking you meant the rear sliding window, realizing you meant the rear quarters, pretty much the same answer.

I am in the same boat you are with mine leaking too, and I say we have 4 options:
1) remove the old seal, clean the pinch weld the seal sits on, and apply a small bead of clear silicone and push gasket on back over it
2) you can try to find a good seal from a junkyard, but those are the same age and will probably leak too.
3) I found a website with all sorts of weather stripping and found one that has a very good chance of working. I haven't gotten around to measuring the pinch weld, but once you measure the thickness of it (ex. 1/64) you'll have your seal.

4) I have a 2004 Honda CR-V and my rear hatch started leaking. The gasket is the exact same design as our quarter windows. (Pinch on gasket with a side bulb). Dealership wanted $170 for the gasket, and for it just being my daily driver at the time it wasn't worth paying that.
I tried getting a used gasket from junkyard and they all leaked too.
My solution was that I got a razor blade and cut a small slit in the bulb of the weatherstripping, and sprayed some silicone spray in it, then I got some 1/8" vacuum hose and pushed it in the slit, all the way around. This gave my seal its form again so the window once again had pressure against the rubber seal. Have not had a leak since.
EDIT: after you slide the vacuum hose in, you need to use weatherstrip adhesive or silicone and close the slit. Dont glob it on there. A dab will do ya.
Hope this helps. Please post your results on what you decide to do.
