1986 22re Distributor Rotor Question OEM Two Part Numbers

So I just ordered a new OEM wire set for my 86 4runner with 22re and while I was at it I ordered a new cap and rotor also. I noticed two part numbers for the rotor one is 3$ the other was 10 bucks and some change. One is black and the other is orange. What is the difference between these? they both seem to have brass contacts but the black one is heavier and has a larger counter balance. Is there some difference in performance between them? The dealer shows both part numbers fitting my engine so I'm just wondering the benefit of spending $3.49 vs. $10.50.
