So my 91 4runner seems to have an issue with controlling the in cab temperature. Starting from the off position I'm able to click to the right 3 times when it seems like it should be 4. Starting from off(1), LO(2), first dot(3), second dot(4), HI(5). So it looks like my slider only goes to the second dot or 4. I've taken off the lower dash and face plate and inspected the switch and from that look everything seems to be in working order, nothing impeding it. So could there be another reason why the switch will not go all the way to HI.


Another problem is the AC light when activated will only light green when I it's on LO. Not either dot. Also neither dot allows the fan to blow.

Im owner number whatever so I'm not sure what everything originally looked like nor how it worked. Thanks in advance for any advice.
