Driving down the road doing 55mph
no miss, no warning, the engine just stopped like you turned the key off... went into limp mode and I made it home doing 20mph.
Idle was normal, but when you gave it some throttle it would Rev to about 1800RPM then instantly drop back to about 800RPM and just bounce back and forth... no missing, no backfire, no rough idle...
Un plug the TPS and it would Rev up normally.
Bought an OEM TPS took off the throttle body, cleaned it and installed new TPS.
followed TPS adjustment instructions and reinstalled the throttle body.
Purrs like a kitten and shift points are dead on.
Hope this might help someone that experiences a similar condition.

Nice, and thanks. That's one of the cleaner 22RTE engines I've seen. LCE recently started carrying a TPS wiring pigtail. Mine was cracked and the clip was missing. A few times on some harsher roads it would come partially disconnected and start throwing codes and run badly.
CT-26 turbo, LCE header, ported head, stage 2 cam, intercooled, 3 inch exhaust. OME lift, 33s, 4.88s with a Detroit in the rear. Still has the auto trans, but I'm looking for a manual this week. They're fun trucks on the highway!
