Found the original invoice on my 1992 Pickup. MSRP $8,998!

I was cleaning out the glove box and found the original invoice for my 1992 pickup. A Toyota pickup for under 10K! I looked at an inflation calculator and it looks like this would run around $17.5k in 2020 dollars. Still a lot cheaper than the lowest trim Toyota Tacoma today!

I just thought that it was cool that the invoice was still in the truck after all these years, and I thought that someone else might get a kick out of it like I did.

Nice! What was the all-weather guard package? The mud flaps?

It’s amazing the price difference between the 2wd and 4wd. My 93 DLX was 18,300 in 1993, which is almost $33,000 in today’s money. I think that is bonkers for what it is.
my truck is just a 22re 5 spd, extra cab.
options were dealer installed a/c
cassette player
chrome package
clock
all weather package
chrome package
sliding rear window
upgrade shocks
halogen headlamps
tachometer

I love it. There used to be a company that would make a facsimile sticker for your classic Mustang. I paid $12,500 for my '88 4Runner DLX and I wish I had the sticker. I beat the price down and bought it in December '88. My friend bought a 2WD Pickup about the same time and I know it was less than $10k.

Very cool! I think I came across the original invoice for my 4runner in the glove box awhile ago, I'll have to take a look again.

i drug home an 82 4wd pickup, SR5 package from a guys famr recently and tore it down for parts, it had the original sales price with it, just shy of 13K which i thought was insanely high for its age. my 87 4runner still has its window sticker at 18K.
