can you say stealership?
I called my local toyota dealer today to get a price on a new maf sensor for my 94 truck. they said it would cost me 546.00! 
so I checked e-bay and found some used for around 125.00
does anyone know where I can find a good deal on one? Should I shy away from buying a used one? I've also heard of someone replacing the stock toy unit with a ford maf? can this give you more power?

Don't waste money on a new one. Find one at a junkyard or on Ebay. Ebay's pretty good if you find a seller with a good amount of positive feedback. Just don't ever buy outside the Ebay parameters or you risk getting screwed out of your money with no leg to stand on.
