Need help 1993 Toyota 2wd 22re need power steering

I apologize in advance, I searched and while I found some info on swapping standard steering components to power components.... the years were older than mine... my wife uses this truck to haul antiques and other hobby related stuff... the truck has been awesome but she complains about steering, can't blame her... could someone please direct me to resource relating to converting her standard steer 1993 Toyota pickup 2wd to a power steering system... what parts I need
what years are interchangeable
pictures or videos
new or used
Thank you to any and all that can assist

So, what does it take to get a conversation going on this forum... I need some help from experienced Toyota folks, asked a legitimate question and have gotten nothing in return...I see less challenging questions are being answered am I missing something

Honestly, I can't answer the question. Both my trucks came with power assisted steering. I didn't know they came without it.

Thus, and not being a mechanic of any stripe, I can't answer.

Ask a question about what I DO know about, like replacing the head of a 22RE, or burping the cooling system after replacing the radiator, I might be of some help. Otherwise, I keep my mouth shut. Better to keep silent and be thought a fool...

I wish you the best, though...

Thanks pat... my bad I assumed there were multiple folks with different levels of experience that may have already tackled this or could direct Me to the appropriate resources... are you suggesting I should post this question elsewhere?

You need the steering box, the hoses, the pump, the cooler (a cooler), and the brackets.

Pretty sure I recall the shafts are different lengths.

Your best bet is to hit the salvage yard, a pick your own parts lot like you pull and pay if you've got more time than money will let you setup a notification when an 89-94 donor hits the lot..

Another option is to hit the lkq national database and have a salvage yard send you what you need. There are two or three salvage yards in Denver that specialize in Toyota parts from back in the day. They will charge a premium for thier services of course.

..
Regarding interchangeable years, the Toyota parts catalog is a good source.
