FS[PacNorWest]: IFS Toyota Steering Box Cores $70ea. shipped)

IFS Toyota Steering Box Cores $70ea. shipped)
Looking to thin out the inventory I currently have, and these steering boxes are first on the list. I have 9 IFS steering boxes to sell as rebuildable cores. When we get a steering box in, it gets inspected for:
-binding when turning
-damaged sector shaft threads
-evidence of water internally
-dry internals
-damaged housing
-twisted sector shaft
-missing hydraulic flares
-etc.
If a steering box shows signs of any damage like this, then it gets thrown in the "Core" barrel. These cores are great for re-building if you plan on going to hydro assist but don't want your rig to be down while doing it. I'd like to make some space for some more used boxes coming in, so I'd like to get rid of the IFS box inventory I have right now. My rule of thumb is if a steering box ends up in the core bin, it needs to be rebuilt before running.
All IFS steering boxes I currently have for sale, will need to be rebuilt.
I will guarantee all boxes as re-buildable, but I wont say that any are good to throw on a truck and run as is. My price is $70 shipped to any where in the United States including Hawaii, Guam, Alaska, and Puerto Rico. Steering boxes are located in Seattle Washington. Let me know if you are interested.
Thanks .

Back to the top. I've had several people ask me about these recently. I still have several of the core steering boxes available, but nothing I would sell as a good used box. As far as rebuilding them goes, I would suggest at least a good seal kit for them. When I have my rebuilder go through them, he resizes all of the re-circulating balls, polishes the internals on a lathe, replaces all seals with high quality parts, pressure checks the box, etc. When we sell a rebuilt steering box, it has been thoroughly gone through and is as good as new.
The cores I sell would atleast need a rebuild similar to the more common rebuilds you can find on the net. I wont knowingly sell a core that has bad internals, or is un-rebuildable.
If someone wants a good core, then the price is still $70 ea., shipped anywhere in the U.S. Let me know if you are interested, and I will get it out the door. Turn around time is right around one day.
Thanks .
