Tranny and T-Case question

Are the T-Cases in back of 90-95' era manual abd auto trannys the same?
I am seriously thinking about converting to a manual. I'll miss my auto though.

Nope. Entirely different. During most of that span the auto tranny and t-case are one unit. This was never the case with manual trannies.
