ANyone ever put power seats in a tacoma from a 4runner?

Well I did! But I have one question, I know somewhere someone has done this swap, then like me noticed that the back seat is now really hard to get too cause of the upper seat part will not fold forward. Has anyone made a quick release for this or the bottom section? There has got to be a way to release the rear portion to flip it forward?

Anyone? If you havn't I would appriate any info you might have on it? Or anyone you know who has tried it?

 

Don't really know, but like you've said I know others have had the same problem. Just wondering though, where did you get your 4R seats from. I've tried eBay to no avail... I guess I'll have to hit the salvage yards.

I got mine from a salvage yard. Do a search at www.car-part.com. Prices were a little high, but I just called the yard and talked him down some. Mine were cheap, but took a lot of cleaning to get out broken glass and dirt..
