Do you know this truck?

Do you know this truck?
I'm going to see it in a few days, it's coming to EU from USA. It's a Toyota truck 1987 Dlx 22RE A/T. It had an Oregon license plate number QHG 679. Do you know if the PO is a YotaTech forum member? I'd like to ask him some questions about the vehicle's maintenance history.
If you recognize this truck, please let me know.
PS. It looks like he/she has a red first gen pickup also, you can see it in the first pic.
Thanks!

the first pic shows a bend in the lower valence panel that wasn't visible in the pics in the link you PM'd me earlier - it's right at the center of the mounting location on the driver's side, just below it.

PO installed a second tow hook, apparently.
It looks like it has some rust in the pillar next to the windshield trim, passenger side.
I uploaded more pics.

This truck has the SR5 seats, door cards, and gauge cluster, but does not have the altimeter....did Toyota make SR5s without the altimeter? Also, looks like on the passenger door card, the pocket was moved over to make space for the door speaker.

Not that I am a purist by any means, I still like the truck, and it is in what I would consider great shape. Interior looks great, and dash has no cracks (can't tell if that is a cap on there).

What's the deal here, I'm assuming it is for sale on some local classifieds and you are interested....what is the person asking for pricewise?

Yes, you could get SR5 models without the altimeter. You could have an SR5 that was pretty bare bones, actually...

This truck could have a dash cap installed. It is hard to tell. The passenger's side vent area doesn't fit quite right. It could be from a dash cap overlay installation or that vent was removed at some point, spreading out the dash pad.

i don't know if that's a second tow hook. it looks more like an attachment point for a tow-bar.

we'll see how long before anyone notices the non-factory control i pointed out to you over the weekend.

I have a SR5 4Runner without altimeter. I has one now.

I hate when they do that.

The PO from Oregon sold it to an exporter/importer in EU, the truck is currently on a ship to EU.

The dash cap doesn't cover the 5 screws that hold the dash, it's easy to tell if it has it if you look from the bottom. I can't tell from those pics.

That gizmo looks like a cruise control module. Is that an extra stalk on the steering column to control it? It might not be factory, but looks pretty slick.

Good to know about the SR5....I always thought it was all or nothing.

Just noticed this truck also does not have AC....

I still like it though! Keep up posted on what you find out when you go look at it.

sr5 trucks can have a whole lot of configurations. i have two '87 sr5 4runners. one has a moonroof. one has cruise. one had rear seats. one had running boards. one had chrome wheels. both have tach, altimeter/inclinometer, deluxe center console, no rear seat heat, AC, manual roll up windows, wing windows.

Very clean over all! You planning to turn it into BTTF truck?

That could be expected. That's where one of the trim clips trap dirt and moisture.
