Hi I am very new to vehicles and are trying to get some help to have a completed front end. please be nice!
I have bought this Toyota 1986 4x4 pickup just recently and it only has headlights and turn signals. I have bought running lights, a front grill, and a bumper with the side plastic bumper ends. I have searched online for the headlight housing and have not found it. also another problem I came across is that my bumper bracket does not fit the right on the frame (pictures below). If anyone can help me with these problems I would be very grateful thanks

 

Maybe the bumper brackets are wrong? If they bolt up to your bumper I would make them work by spacing them up to match the body lift.

 

Yea that's part of the problem too. they have the right holes to mount but they aren't placed right to where they are lined up. right bracket wrong size. I guess the manufacturer wasn't sizing the bracket to the right size.
That's why I am nervous to get another bracket

 

Bolt some flat plate to the frame and bolt the brackets to the bumper.Position the bumper so it lines up and looks right. Clamp the brackets to the plate. Mark and drill holes to bolt the brackets to the plate. For the headlight frames try rockauto if you have not tried them yet.
