Okay guys I have discovered that putting the word bumper in a search assures 40 pages of results. Of which I did not find this answer I am sure all know.

Will a 1986 pickup rear step bumper fit a 1986 4runner? Thanks!

 

Depends just what you mean by fit.

Brackets might just be a little different.

Someone might know for sure but with out crawling under and taking measurements I can`t tell by just looking .

I am sure with some work it could be made to work.

 

Yeah was asking if it just bolted right up. I have a step bumper now but the po was "unkind" to it. Having more fun than needed finding one for a 4runner but seems easy to find one for a truck.

 

Make one yourself or buy one someone is selling cheap.

If you were any where close to me I would be willing to help you out but shipping bumpers gets expensive.

Then with these vehicles getting older bumpers do tend to get beat up.

 

I think the difference would be in the bumper wings. On the 4runners the bumper wings run forward to the wheel wells. On the pick-ups I think they don't. The bolts (should) all match up.
