Hey guys, I recently got a new car and can finally have time to learn more about engines and cars as a whole. I plan on taking the 22r out and re-building it piece by piece. In the mean time I'm looking for an engine swap , something with more power, maybe even a crate option to play with. Please help me out

2rz or 3rz out of a first gen tacoma or 3rd gen 4runner. Can pretty much bolt up with mounts and a wire harness for the swap which can be bought from ORS. Will probably be double the power of a tired 22r. Lots of info here in the engine swap section and on the marlin crawler forum

 

Wait, I am confused.

Why are you rebuilding the 22R if you are going to use a different engine?
