I'm having a hard time finding the soft lines for my AC. 1988 4Runner, 4cyl EFI.

From what I saw on Camelback Toyota website, 88711-89114 is my discharge hose Toyota part number, and this part might be available, although it is upwards of $175. The suction hose is 88720-89115 and it shows as discontinued.

I have not found any aftermarket hoses for my year, anyone have any leads on part numbers or websites\retailers to check?

Of course my other option is a custom hose place, but where? Who crimps AC hoses these days?

Where have you looked? It's been awhile since I had a hose fabricated, but I'm sure that any local "A/C repair" shop can point you in the right direction.

I might call some "AC repair shops" I haven't called any, I just started really searching yesterday and was surprised that I couldn't find aftermarket hoses online to fit my truck.

 

Your local companies that specialize in nuts, bolts, fasteners, etc often offer crimping services for hoses. They frequently make hydraulic lines that require similar fittings.

 

Ended up sending my lines to this Coldhose.com business, turns out they are in Ocala, FL. They remade my lines for what I considered reasonable, just about $100 including shipping.
