Should head gasket holes be open? 94 3.0 L
94 Pickup 3VZ
Blew the white steam so it got torn down.
I see the gasket in front of #1 has some holes covered. Left head gasket is open in those areas at back of head.
It really blew apart where the holes are covered. The red spots are open both block and head, the blue spot is NOT open on the block.
Should they have been open?
