Have a set of steelies off a honda CRV. Online its says all crvs came with 5x114.3 bolt pattern. To my knowledge my 1988 Toyota pickup has the same bolt pattern. The rims will not fit my truck however. The bolt holes are close but too tight to fit on completely. Am i missing something?
This is the honda CRV rim Numbers On The CRV Rim Current rims on my pickup Numbers on current rim
If you offered them up to the studs and they didn't fit it's as simple as "they don't fit"..
Did you actually take the rims off the old vehicle, as in you know for a fact what they came off of?
ok they didnt fit lol. But now I have a set of diamond racing wheels. Problem is i dont know what lug nuts to use. 45 degree or 60 degree. I dont fully understand their bolt size expansion on there site.
The stud hole size section. Which lug nut would you select for a 1988 Toyota Pickup? Bolt pattern is 5x4.5 studs thread is 12x1.5.. This is what i dont understand: 5 bolt: (5x4.1/2, 5x4.3/4 ,5x5) 11/16" for 5/8" studs (45 degree taper racing lug nuts.) All other 5 bolt: Patterns have 9/16" for 1/2" studs (60 degree taper lug nuts.) What di they mean 11/16 for 5/8 studs?
"What di they mean 11/16 for 5/8 studs?"
Their rims come with a 11/16" hole for your 5/8" wheel studs. So essentially, the hole in the rim is 1/16" larger than the studs.
