new toyota slogan

hey, someone on t4r.org started a topic something like this (who is now an esteemed member of the better toyota truck forum)(this one) and i think it's a great idea. the first few pages are good, after it starts to get off topic and crappy, just stop reading, because it doesn't stop getting crappier. http://www.toyota-4runner.org/showth...&threadid=3342

i especially like the part about us coming up with a new slogan. for example, jeep owners have "it's a jeep thing, you wouldn't understand". we need to come up with one too! and then i'm sure we can talk our fearless leaders here at yotatech into getting some stickers made up! what do you guys think? what are your ideas? i say that if we get enough of them, we can choose like the top 5 that everyone likes and set up a poll to decide which one to use. i don't know about you, but if i had a jeep, i would definitely have the jeep sticker. i want to make people wonder what it is about my truck that makes me love it so much! post your ideas!

oh, but PLEASE don't let this thread get to the point where the t4r.org one got to! i really think this is a good thread (by the way, krashmytoy started it on t4r, i can't take credit for it, i just want to transfer it to the site that i think is a LOT better and is DEFINITELY my favorite of the 2), but that one was kinda ruined by all the random nonsense

with that said, let's hear how creative you people are!

I love the sticker idea. Someone else on this sight had: "I understand the Jeep Thing. That's why I drive a Toyota." I once owned a Heep and the one thing I really liked was that other Heep owners waved to you.....I would like to get something like that started with Runners. AND no, not the bird!

How about: "It's a 4Runner World, deal with it" or the ever so famous "Got Toyota" or one of those oval white stickers that says "Yota".

The "bird" could however apply if a fellow 4Runner cuts you off in traffic while talking on their cell phone driving toward Microsoft with a Starbucks in the other hand. I live in Seattle ya know.

Seriously though, I think "Jeep Rescue Vehicle" should be a standard Toyota thing, I love that sticker.

When I commented there, I replied ON TOPIC, it was not my fault that then people started asking me if I was single, and trying to set me up with Thai, and that then it turned to crap and there was nothing to do but laugh with it. After that, I even tried to get it BACK on topic, but it still didn't work.

Now, hopefully we can stay on topic over here, I agree.

Anyway ... there are some good guys helping our Texas 4ROC chapter out with stickers - designing them and offering to help us get them produced, so hopefully they'll post here too and help to draw something up / make suggestions.

p.s. "Jeep Rescue Vehicle" should be, as ScoFco suggested, a standard Toyota thing ... maybe they should add that as a post-script beneath the TOYOTA badge in rear.

Heh, Scofco, that picture you posted reminded me of a truck I saw at work a few weeks ago that said "Toy Yoda" on the tail gate, it cracked me up.

"4Runner 4 Real"
That sounds too much like that one movie with Vin Diesel, you know, 2 Stupid 4 Words.

I like short, non-cliche and non-phony bologna 'badass' sayings...

So with that I'll give my suggestion, despite the fact that I'm stealing it from Marmot...

Toyota. For Life.

All the jeeps around here have the "if you can read this, flip me over" upside down on their rigs. Sounds fitting to have "jeep rescue vehicle" upside down on ours.

this is what I have on the back of the Yotassan.....

Being a part of Michiganjeepers.com I can say that I do pull alot of Jeeps out of stucks.......but they also have pulled me quite a few times also.......I just love going out to my favorite ( and only legal wheeling spot near me ) the mounds ORV park in MT Morris Michigan. ( shameless plug LOL ) and finding some yuppie in their brand new rig trying to get thru the mud......BTW....H2's in my opinion are mall cruisers, not intended for mud....H1's on the other hand rock the snizzle.

the reason I say this is the H1's will go thru the park and not care....they had a run out there with the H2's last year and went thru and trimmed trees for a week on all the trails so that they wouldn't scratch their precious curb jumpers
