I am looking at purchasing a 1988 Toyota 4WD Ext Cab PU. The front half of the truck (Cab, Front and frame) are in nice condition. The rear bed has rust on both bed sides and is just plain damn rough!
I would like to completely replace the bed with a bed similar to the type of bed Chris (Ujoint) put on his V2 van. Rather than start completely from scratch and fabricating a bed myself leads to my question:
I would like to know if anyone knows of a commercially available bed for these old Toyota's that is like/similar the bed pictured below OR would be a good lightweight bed to start a bed build that ends up like the V2 van be below?
