long bed question

I am wondering what the difference in wheelbase dimensions are on a 1994 long bed vs short bed. Has anybody ever put a short bed on a long bed frame?

No such thing.
Long beds were only available from 79-88, and 89 on trucks are only short bed..
now, the short bed extended cab has the longer wheelbase, which might cause confusion.
If you try and put a single cab body on an extended cab wheelbase frame of that era, you'll be hard pressed to find a bed to match, without some body work.

I stand corrected. 79-91, 94 wouldn't be long bed.

They were only produced as single cabs, though.

Well of course, that's a given.
