Ok, so I was curious to see what my base weight was before I start modding. My truck is a 1993 RN110, 22re, w56, 4x4, extra cab.
My father purchased it new so I know it’s full history.
It has OEM dealer installed a/c
Weight wise for add ons it has a Lund visor
small led auxiliary lights
31x10.5 on OEM SR5 option wheels
came from the factory with steel wheels and 28 inch tires
It also has a matching spare wheel and tire
no bedliner
interior is pretty stock except for
kenwood single din CD player
and added 6.5 inch rear speakers
It was weighed with a little over half a tank of gas
I was not in the truck when weighed.
Weight was
front axle 2100 lbs
rear axle 1460 lbs
total 3560 lbs
pretty much in line with what Toyota’s brochure said.
My 88 4runner with 3.4 swap, sr5 wheels, 33x10.5 bf goodrich ko2's. Front weight 2200 lbs. Rear weight 2000 lbs. This was without us in it but with all the stuff we had with us for a week long vacation. Weighed at a Dot scale in Cody Wy. When we got home i weighed the stuff in the back and was around 150lbs. So curb weight is around 4000 lbs. With the 3.4 even at that weight it runs very good. We drove 2000 miles on vacation and got 19 mpg.
