I have a 88 Toyota pickup 4x4 3.0. swapped motor out for a 95 3.0 from a 4runner. I had to use the distributor out of my 88 because of the plugs. I can't get the timing rite, with the distributor fully retarded it's reading 10-22° advanced I've redone the timing fifty times now. It runs fine when I crank it and run it a while but when I shut it down and leave it for twenty minutes or so it's getting vapor locked.is the any way I can use the 95 distributor? Any help would be appreciated.
