Can't find a true answer online and know best place to go is a forum. Helping a guy I work with fix his 1992 pickup wiper transmission. What years or other models (4runner ect.) are swappable? I'm trying to keep it cheap by going to junkyards before I source a new one for a parts store or online, I'm a Honda/acura guy so no idea about Toyota. Much help would be great.

 

go to the Lakeland Toyota overstock parts page and start checking part numbers. probably 89-95 runners and pickups.

 

Looks like 89-92 used the same motor. There are 2 part numbers that fit, one says "cold spec". Not sure what the difference is between the regular one and cold spec?

windshield wiper motor 85110-35090

windshield wiper motor (cold spec) 85110-35100

 

would be cool if the cold spec motor was designed to work with ice somehow.
