Hi guys my name is jacob i just got a 1995 toyota tacoma the truck used to have a automatic transmission in it, Well anyway i need to get the check engine light off and the only light that comes on is the vehicle speed sensor well the speedometer obviously does not work.. I was hoping it was just a sensor but it is not, I look under the truck and on the driver side i see the mechanic cable just sitting there and on the passenger side i look and notice that the transmission has the electronic speed sensor... I am so lost on what to do please help if anyone knows what i can do.. Thank you in advance... I am not sure if i can just unplug the speed sensor and mabey just screw in the mechanical one.. I need some advise on this one thanks...
