Hey guys, just got a new truck recently. It's a 1993 pickup with a 3.4 in it. I have recently replaced the third member, pinion seal, driveshaft carrier bearing, clutch kit, flywheel, rear main seal and fuel filter.
I was doing the test drive after replacing the clutch and seemed fine at first but now its having a problem.
At around 3000 rpm it will lose power for a second or two and then a hard jerk as it gains power again. Not noticing a drop or spike in rpms when this happens. Cant seem to get it to happen while not in gear. Also the speedometer has quit working. It's been dead except for spiking occasionally.
Could this be clutch/ rear differential related? I'm stumped. Not sure where to start. The rear end I replaced it with did not have ABS so I just pulled the sensor and put it to the side. Could that cause a problem outside of not having anti lock brakes??
Thanks in advance for any advice

Hooked up a scanner and it was not able to pick anything up. Looks like whoever did the swap didnt hook it up right. Its getting power to it but wont scan.
Speedometer has started working somehow and I was not able to get it to happen again while driving with my buddy who is a mechanic. Ofcourse It wont mess up with the mechanic in the car Haha.
