Like looking for a unicorn, I know - but since the OEM has been discontinued, is there an aftermarket engine harness available?

Having my engine rebuilt and the clips on most all the connectors did not survive the uninstall. It’s a 1994 4Runner, V6 4WD with a manual trans. Can probably get by with replacing all the connectors. Any chance someone who’s done this has a list of the part #s and quantities of each required?

Or by some miracle if you’ve got a NOS harness you’d consider parting with? This truck has been good to me for every one of it’s 25 years and 216K miles, and I’d like to return the favor.

 

Surely someone has had to replace some of the connectors in their engine bay.....any leads on sources? Found some at Ballenger Motorsports, but still looking....

 

If you can find a five digit number embossed on the connector, just tack that on to 90980- and that is your connector part number. With that number, just run a search in any dealer site. https://parts.lakelandtoyota.com/ is my favorite, but there are plenty of others.

That part is (usually) just the connector body. You'll still need the pins or sockets, which are pretty much universal. Many times, your existing pins are fine, it's just the body that has cracked. Remove the pins from the cracked body, insert them into the new one, plug-and-play.

 

That is some great info, truly appreciate the tip. Will be a couple days until I can get back where the truck is, and will track down as many part #s as possible. Thanks for the response!
