Hey guys , I could use some input on a issue . I live in north Mississippi and we’ve been getting hammered with rain for over a week now . My Toyota has NEVER had a issue missing or getting fuel , I get the click start every once and a while but a few cycles of the ignition and it’s running so no biggie there . Since the rain started she’s been missing quite a bit , and this morning she stalled on me and wouldn’t crank for 5-10 mins like it wasn’t getting fuel . Could this be a fuel pump? Losing prime ? Can losing prime cause a miss fire ? Any input would be greatly appreciated as I do most of the work to my Toyota on my own but fuel systems are not my strong suit and shops in my area charge a astronomical amount to even diagnose a issue .
[=snippits;52419038]Distributor getting wet. If it is original distributor, the cap o-ring is probably rotten.
I replaced the distributor 4 months back but I will definitely check it when this rain slacks off , it didn’t even cross my mind since it still has the rubber guard around it , I’m also pretty certain I put dielectric grease on all the plug ends on both sides
