Will all the body parts from a 88 4wd reg cab pickup fit on a 84 4wd reg cab pickup frame?
Anybody do this? I've seen some 85 to 87 swaps but not a 84 to 88 and didn't say if it was a bolt on.
I'm talking:
Bed
Cab
Doors
Hood
Fenders
And would they all just bolt up?

Ok I know from reading sas threads on a different site there are major frame differences between SA And IFS trucks so any body part that attaches to the frame or is in very close contact up could be close. But most of the bolt on stuff like doors, hoods, tailgates, etc. should work fine. Think the beds should work but measure for those.

 

yes .. same body style ....
as long as the bed is either short to short , or long to long .. front is all the same

Front mounts of the 84 frame may be slightly different front the IFS body mounts
