I did a head gasket replacement on a 22re and went to start but was just cranking. Heard hissing under hood and notices gas leaking out of front fuel injector.
After 5 days of battle with the head gasket replacement I am not sure if I am the time or patience to rip plenum off again so I can get to fuel injector bar.

 

seems like the average shop rate is $100/hour (at least) Plus Plus

 

So I think I am going to fight the good fight and do the injectors myself.
Just wanted to confirm that if the front injector was leaking then would the engine just crank and not start?

 

Possibly. But its a good thing to fix a fuel leak before you starting it.
