I'd like to have everything original in my T4R first gen... but... but...but... I got a pair of aluminum b-pillar badges from the member @bhicks22. They're very nice, well made, they look much better than the original plastic/acrylic ones.

Yep I have a set as well, I love them. I'm with you, OEM when available and when it makes sense, aftermarket when it's better. My original ones are too far gone to do restore, and the reproduced ones on eBay while very nice, are $150. To me, these aluminum ones are more like what the factory should have done.
I saw something in eBay, but they didn't have the '3D' effect the OEM ones have.
In the other hand, there's a thread in the forum how to restore the b-pillar badges and it's very complete, pics and list of materials needed. Very cool.
