Fuel line broke 2005 Tundra

My 2005 Tundra base model 2 Dr 4.0 L V 6 has a fuel line that runs from filler neck to fuel tank (there are a total of 3 lines on this filler neck) this one has a special disconnect like its for a high pressure system. The other two are hose clamp attached and are obviously to fill and the other to vent.m The one that broke is the one with the special connector I looked at the parts diagram from Toyota and it appears this hose or tube is part of the tank itself. I'm don't want to replace the $750.00 fuel tank so I'm looking for advise.
Can I use a high pressure fuel line and attach it from tank to filler neck.
or
What is this lines function can I omit and plug off both ends?
