Replacement fan blade wobbling
A bolt was sticking of of the timing cover on my 1991 3.0 pickup as if the threads had been stripped and the bolt was able to move in and out of the cover without any resistance. Anyway, I made the genius move to ignore the problem and the bolt worked its way out and got in the way of the radiator fan and tore the darn thing off the clutch. I’ve since ordered a replacement an and put it on the truck and now the fan wobbles pretty violently. On closer examination of the fan I have noticed slight imperfections along the edges of the fan. The fan does not feel loose. Any idea on what this problem could be, besides a bad part, would be appreciated.

From: I live in New Tripoli Pa out in the woods
At one time in the past someone changed the hardware
It came original with a lock washer and nut
Are you sure the fan being destroyed did not damage the bearing in the fan pulley bracket ??
Bend the pulley itself ??

yeah I have considered that possibility but The replacement fan is visibly not perfectly round so I’ll get another one of those to try out and go from there.
