while doing a carb. to efi conversion on a 85 toyota 22r

will an 86 with IFS work for my conversion donor or do i need a 85 with solid axle to get my conversion parts from

86 will work. But you will want the chassis/cab harness as well. 85 and 86 diagrams are a bit different. I have a 85 efi truck here complete. But I am alsoconverting a 1982 to efi using a 86 engine and harness. I can't walk up to the 1985 and expect to find what I need.
