ok ive looked at tons of threads on camshafts and i just cant decide which to go with, since everyone has their own opinion on whats best. so id like to ask it myself. i want to make this a good off-road rig, but still have good power for highway use. ill need low end torque alot more than high end power, but i still need a cam that will do ok when im on the highway. right now what looks good for me:
Crower stage 2 (part#: 61807)
DOA C270 cam
LCE Pro Torquer cam
LCE Stage 2 cam
yotashop rv2

these all look good but I'm not sure which to go with. i would go with engnbldr but it seems he's been closed for a while. what would you recommend? the forums online i see show that most people all have their own preference and there is way to many cams to choose from! ill be doing the cam with a lce header.

The name(s) of the cams don't tell us a lot. The grinders usually have specs (rpm range, lift, etc) and purpose (off road, drag, RV, etc.). Choice would also depend on the level of prep on the rest of the engine (headers, compression, etc).

I have the 261C cam from Engnbldr with the RV head and is the perfect combo for hwy and off road use. But like we all know they are closed for now.

I’m running a 260* cam now. Have ran 261* also. I compared what RPM the cam was best at and what RPM range I spend most of my time at. So 260-261 was best option.

i’m not An Offroad by throttle type so.

is this cam you linked a copy of engnbldr's or do they buy it from him, or is it just their own 261 cam? is it the exact same thing?
