3.0 AFM Factory Settings

My 3vz’s AFM appears to have been tinkered with. How do I know (or how do I reset to) the factory setting?

I don't believe there is any way to know for sure where it was set exactly from the factory. I have messed with mine quite a bit but marked it before I started.

The only thing I could think of is finding a stock one and counting teeth back from where the spring connects to the inside of the ring that has the teeth. I can take a look at mine later and see if there is a way to count them.

You are pretty much going to need a new one, but here are some relevant images (note this is not a 3vz vafm!)

The best way I can think of to recalibrate one of these would be hanging a weight off the vane, but you would need a known good one and that might only get you in the ballpark.
