Hey guys I have a 94 22re with 303k on it. I had to replace the afm on the truck due to the flap broke when I tried to free it up( no metal got in the motor. Afm was off the truck when it happened). I got the truck running with the new afm and got it tuned so it idles smooth and revs thru the rpm smoothly but if I hold it at a rpm say like 3400 it stays but little rough. I’m wondering if having no air filter cold do this? Waiting on my to arrive and it back fires when you let off it you open it wide open? Could it do this because of no filter and a very short exhaust? Mine just goes past the cab it rotted and it’s all I need to be Legal here. If I blip the throttle on deaccel it doesn’t back fire at all any thought?
