I have a 86' 4runner that I want to put on a soft top that slopes to tail gate after rear seats.

I haven't seen a soft top like your describing. Do you have pics? All the ones I've seen follow factory hardtop lines.

 

I just ordered a killer toy top and had been looking at all available soft top options throughout the last couple years. There's nothing in production with a slope like that. It would have to be custom-made. KTT does some custom work, but their full tops are based on a frame that is the same height to the tailgate, so I doubt they'd be willing to redesign it for a one-off, but it won't hurt to ask.

 

Would be a cool look. Perhaps if OP can fab brackets/frame a local boat shop can stitch cover part.
