Out of bottom of axle

 

Nice pics of devastation, but you modestly do not tell your part in whatever abuse led to this bad end??

old gears, is my best guess. Add in water in axle that I caught only after pinion bearing started squealing. Replaced bearings. Taught a teen how to drive a stick.

Now that I think about it I did hammer on it last Feb. In a frozen over water hole with a rock exit. Had to rock it back and forth with a fair amount of skinny pedal. 👍 probably it.
