I pretty sure scope103 was also asking if there are any codes stored in the ECU (computer).
You didn't alert to that.
Just curious.

There are actually three concerns that code can pertain to.
Code 51: Switch signal - closed throttle position sensor (CTP) switch OFF during diagnoses.

Signal switch AC-switch on during diagnoses.

Switch signal-park/neutral position (PNP) switch not in P or N during diagnoses.

I suspect if its running "Sluggish" then you need to check your TPS to see if it is out of spec.

yeah ima ohm out the tps once im home from work any idea what the readings are supposed to be? and i hope its that and not the distractibutor bcz it idles fine just runs like crap at low rpms when in gear and after like 2500 (estimate bcz dont have rpm gauge) it runs perfect

Honestly the procedure for testing and adjusting your TPS can be a little tricky and confusing if you have never done it.
But that's the challenge when working on a 3VZE, it can be frustrating but rewarding.
If you plan on keeping it, get yourself get a repair manual, (FSM) you can perform test procedure's and diagnose problems.
There are plenty of TPS adjustment "how to" on the internet.
Distributors are not a common problem, I have seen alot of them replaced for unrelated reasons.

Here is one to get you started.
