I couldn't pass up the $1700 for a supercharger deal so I dediced to pull out the old credit card and put it to use..

Thanks guys!

I am not sweating the install one bit, shouldn't be too bad. If i do catch a snag, i have two friends that are mechanic's at toyota.

Welcome to the club...

This opens a whole new world of crap to buy. Boost gauge, tranny cooler, other various electronic devices...

Did I mention that it is an expensive club?

I am jealous! Maybe next year I will pick one up. What do you guys find that installation from a dealership costs? I don't have the knowledge, or means to do it myself, and would want the dealership warranty!

First of all, check with your dealer to see if they will install a supercharger that was not purchassed from them. They might not want to take the liability.

Second, check to see if you get the balance of your factory powertrane warranty (if you still have any). The supercharger comes with a 12 month warranty if you install it yourself. If installed by a dealer, you get the balance of the factory warranty.

If the dealer will do it, the install should be about $400.

Shhhhh!! Quiet, my wife may hear you!!
*says out loud so she can hear* this is the last mod I need for my 4Runner!!
(in reality it has just begun!!)

Already have the tranny cooler, and i am going to see what mods I need after I install it and determine if/when it pings..
