no help / 3.0 3rd Gen. 95 pickup

Well broke down had truck taken to Garage to have it checked out to why truck dies when put in drive , it doesn't die as far as stop dead , it just as no get up and go it just looses its power to get up and go , I don't know if it was low on oil in the rear hub if that would do anything or not . I don't know if anyone else as come across this proplem or not , open to any input you all have , I'm sure the Garage will be getting a hold of me this week to have it picked up and brought back , It starts up real nice sounds good , but as soon as you put it in Drive it just bogs down will not go over 30 , it will get up to higher speed but it takes awhile , it will whine like it wants to shift for a long time before it will shift , I don't try to push it because I don't know if it will cause any more damage. Well I hope I can get this taken care of its a good little Truck . Thanks for any help you can give.

Inconsistently posting

Drop zone, he posted over ten threads in multiple sections and didn't stick it out through people side tracking. Been chasing the same problem since October.

guessing it is or was transmission related..

you say automatic transmission and people tend to run not walk for the nearest exit lol

I has nothing better to do, or at least found a constructive way to waste time

It could be transmission related, but the first thing that popped into my head was plugged catalytic converter.

could be, and it's a quick check if the hardware isn't locked solid enough to require cutting it off.

However cats don't whine they whistle, in my experiences
