Well two of them are. Here is the "before" picture:

And after prepping and painting:

I am in the process of doing a write-up. So if you are itchin' to have black wheels, stand by, it will be submitted to Corey shortly.

Thanks for the compliments guys. The key when doing this is prep. I did just use spray paint, but I must say the spray paint I chose is awesome. It was sanding, wiping, priming, painting and top coating. VHT Satin Black Polyurethane Wheel Paint - this stuff rocks! I have never used a spray paint that when on so smooth and looked so perfect when finished. The clear enamel detracted from the perfect finish, but clear enamel is a good layer to have for car washes and road grime, so I had to use it.
Thanks again. I will try and bust out the write-up as fast as I can.
Time to go hit the other two wheels now!

White huh? Interesting, sounds like something a DSM guy would say! j/k
Well, when the write-up is finished, the person attempting the mod can insert whatever color they want during the paint step.
I cant wait to see who tries Type R yellow...

What other types of wheels can you do this on? I'm thinking my Centerline Hellcats would look sweet if they were glossy black.
Shoot, why stop there. I'd paint my nerf bars, the grille guard, the bumpers... everything!
Is the paint pretty durable?

The good news is that a large nick can be repaired by sanding and repainting the area with this stuff. I will keep you all posted.

yeah I'm just waiting for you to go off roading with these and see how the paint holds up. If it does good then I'm going to do this to my stock rims, I think those will look really nice. I have the five point star rims on mine.
