340H overheating fix I hope

So after adding standard trans coolers and still fighting the Trans Oil Temp I have gone all out and purchased this lovely piece of equipment. I have had great luck with these on my race cars so if it doesn't keep my Yota trans cool them I'm freaking giving up lol...

Let us know how it works out. We are assuming that you have an accurate aftermarket gauge to measure the rear fluid temps....before and after.

Are you planning on just bypassing the radiator cooler?

Zuk I don't have a Temp Gauge.... I know stupid me, which I have ordered one once I realized that (hey stupid how do you know what the temp will be).. I can say this the cooler has a 180 degree temp switch that automatically turns the 500cfm fan on. Before I could only drive on the Hwy about 20 min and the Trans oil temp light would come on. After my install last night I drove it hard 80mph for over an hour and no light and the trans shifts perfect! I wish I had a temp gage to compare. I'm having an issue still with the transfer case engaging on it own when the trans gets hot, I'm baffled and no one can tell me why. I've changed all the shift solenoids, throttle position sensor, engine coolant sensor, and added this cooler. My Therory was the trans case was engaging cause the trans was running hot. After my test last night trans didn't over heat according to the light but after I put the runner in park and shifted into drive CLUNK trans case engaged....my 4wheel shifter is in 2h. Only way to get it to disengage it to let it sit for hours to let it completely cool down and then it's like new. I'm beating my head on the floor trying to figure it out..
Anyway back to the cooler using it as a secondary I have the return line out of the radiator going into the cooler thermo fan switch then into the cooler. The fan did come one during my road test so I know the fluid temp after leaving the radiator hit 180 before going into the cooler. The temp outside here in Georgia was 99 yesterday
