Demello Rocksliders simply ROCK!

I just welded a set of their HD 1.75in round sliders on my 00" 4runner.

They fit like a glove. went on with no problem and are super well made.

Of coarse the first thing I had to do was jack the truck up by them.
No flex at all and I could of flipped it over, if the jack was tall enough.

They are a class act to deal with.

Thanks Jason

Good stuff, huh? I have the same set as you. Nice choice!

The funny thing is non-offroaders are always asking me why I have the funny looking running boards or step ups on my truck. Heh.

Good deal. I've got DeMello sliders that I've given a pretty good beating too. I have seen some flex at the ends from them which is kind of annoying because it causes rubbing at the pinch weld, but it's not a big deal. A small body lift will fix that... at least temporarily.

I'm not sure. I got them before he offered them for 4Runners, never mind had several different bars to choose from. I think they are 1.75" .120wall steel, so I guess they would be the heavy duty sliders.

I looked athe site and they look pretty good. So you can lift the truck even with the round ones, cool. Is the round ones usable as a "running board" as well, or only the square ones?

Not really. They're tucked in too far for using easily as a step up.

Chekc this thread where I posted about my purchase of the HD round sliders:

There's some pics to look at.

Like Darx said, these are tucked really close to the body, which is what I wanted, no need for a step.

I wanted max ground clearence and did not them to stick out farther than the tires for minimum vehicle width.

The square ones look like they might serve the dual purpose of protection and step, what do you guys think?

I'm looking to replace my running boards, but still want that functionality as it still is my daily driver and luxury car all in one

There is a rule around here, you can not talk up a new mod without posting some pictures. WHERE ARE THE PICTURES?
