Efi to carb.

Efi to carb.
Just became a member to yota tech, really liking it so far. But okay so I have an 86 Toyota pickup that has the 22r with a Weber 32/36 on it. I have a 22re cab off of an 84 Toyota that I want to put on my 86 frame but I want to keep my carb setup. Anyone ever done it ? I really don't want to get involved in swapping harnesses but if it has to be done I guess I can tackle it on.

I have converted from carb to efi and efi to carb. It is a big job but is not hard to do, just takes some time. Around page 40 or 50, I converted a truck to efi on my 86 Runner build below that can show several steps on getting the truck apart and back together.
I have seen where some have tried to use the efi wiring by cutting the un needed wires out and it is a really hacked up job. If you are going to do it, I would suggest doing a harness swap to do it right and not have any issues.
