New Here: 22re Leaking Coolant (plz help)

Hi all,

I'm new, both in terms of this forum and a recent new owner of a 22re pickup. My engine is leaking coolant, and I'm trying to gain some insight on how big the issue actually is. There could be a couple of places that the engine is potentially leaking coolant from, but I've identified at least one. I've attached some pictures below. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

What year do you have? 87(could be 86 and older) and older have a sensor in the Thermostat housing and it looks like yours is missing. The newer trucks did not have the sensor in the housing.

Are you sure the coolant is not leaking from the hose connection and dripping?
Worm-drive hose clamps need to be re-tightened after some time. They are prone to leaking when the hose rubber compresses and when temps get colder.

Problem fixed! Thanks a million, guys. I purchased the truck and eagerly jumped on here before I had the opportunity to really get my hands dirty.

Glad you got it fixed, but care to share what you did to fix it? That's what the forum is for.
