Real newbie question but what are the rubber mounting brackets at the corners of the front bumper on our pickup trucks called? Mine are sagging and ripped and the bumper looks as if its falling off. Searching is difficult when you dont know the actual name of the part your searching for. Thanks gin advance.
Adding a little bit to this for a partial highjack.
The 4Runner I bought had no front bumper at all. I went to a salvage yard to pick something up so I could have factory turn signals. The ugly bumper they had only had bracket 52106. Will I need the entire 52066 sub assembly so that I can mount the bumper end caps? My gut says yes.
Another front bumper question. I assume that the frame mounts for the center bumper piece mirror each other. I had the wail on ds frame mount to even it out. I may have to beat on it some more once I get a straight center piece.
Those end caps arent what i need but thanks for the link. Its a bolt on either side of the bumper ends that has a split rubber grommet. The top bolts into the body and the grommet slides into a bracket on the bumper almost like the engineers wanted to support the bumper ends but allow some room for it to move. Ill make it easy and get a picture in a bit. Thanks again...
